Who Am I
A passionate and hard-working multi-disciplined designer with over 10 years’ experience in Web, Graphic, UX and Motion design across multiple industry sectors.
I’m all about new technologies and how they can be integrated into our design process to increase efficiency and quality of output. I am proficient in a range of software including but not limited to Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, After Effects and Jira.
I am an expert in creative automation and optimisation and have integrated multiple tools and third-party products in teams I have been a part of including Flashtalking, Bannerflow, Spirable, Storyteq and more. I have specialised in implementing Dynamic Content Optimisation (DCO) strategies to increase efficiencies and allow for more real time testing and learning.
My personal design style is clean and minimalist, making use of subtle patterns and gradients to create depth to the designs. However working for many different brands I am able to flex this and create impactful, striking designs that work across different platforms.
Professional Experience

- Led the ideation, design and implementation of digital marketing campaigns for PokerStars brands in over 25 regions.
- Kept up-to-date with industry trends and new advertising formats, pitch these to stakeholders within the Marketing department. Recently this includes AI solutions e.g. MidJourney, Firefly, ChatGPT.
- Championed our in-house and external technologies and softwares. Share my exceptional, first-class knowledge around the team and business. This includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Flashtalking, Bannerflow, HTML5, CSS.
- Made key decisions for the success of Digital Marketing, execute test and learn strategies and advise with data-led decisions.
- Worked in collaboration 3rd party agencies and grew relationships with them, becoming key partners with first access to new features.
- Provided mentorship and guidance to junior designers, assigning and managing workloads whilst ensuring a high standard of design output across the team.

- Designed and built flexible, dynamic, reusable static and animated templates to meet the company automation goals, decrease production time and maintain quality.

- Design and develop BAU and key marketing campaigns for Digital Advertising and Social media channels for all PokerStars brands and SkyBet.
- A key member of the DCO (Dynamic Content Optimisation) project team working on implementing dynamic content into our digital marketing channels.
- Working with our lead developers and agency Flashtalking to design and build dynamic HTML5 animated banners to increase production speed and accuracy.
- Designing and building dynamic video and banner templates for marketing campaigns.
- Design advertising campaigns to work across Desktop, Mobile and Tablet devices, ensuring ads work across all modern browsers.
- Ideate storyboards for videos and edit videos using Adobe After Effects.

- Manage and deliver on major releases and brand campaigns from our top brands including Nike, Adidas, Asics, New Balance and more.
- Lead the development of the UX and UI of the desktop and mobile websites to improve customer experience based on data and user research. Introduce key UX principles across our channels.
- Maintaining and building a strong relationship with development to ensure smooth website releases.
- Liaise with the senior leaders to create presentations delivered to our key suppliers.
- Create engaging email and social media campaigns across all of our social channels. Work with our Photographer and Videographer to create best in class content.

- Designing and creating seasonal and promotional campaigns for the Kaleidoscope website and email channels. This includes both desktop and mobile homepage updates and redesigns, landing pages, blog posts, email campaigns and digital display advertising.
- Maintaining and developing the website to keep up with Web Design and UX trends. Constantly improving the customer experience using analytical data and customer research to dictate design and development decision making.
- Creating personalised online shopping experiences for our customers based on data gathered from customer behaviour patterns and user research.
- Implementation and ownership of the online Kaleidoscope SS18 & AW18 TV campaigns, including developing Kaleidoscope’s first video embedded email.
- Designing and updating fashion trends, inspirational content, collections and the Kaleidoscope blog.

The main responsibilities of this role involve working with the CRM team in designing promotional and non-promotional emails, sent out to up to 8.4 million customers. The emails are categorised into BAU and Targeted emails each with their own style and visual identity, which I have created and developed during my time in the team. Another key responsibility of this role is to implement responsive designs for our emails. I have developed knowledge of how to design responsively, thinking mobile first, and worked with the Development team to create responsive designs and templates to use across our different emails. This has been a key part of the role as we see our customers shift to a preference for using mobile devices. I have also worked on implementing dynamic content within emails and display banners allowing our content to be truly tailored to our customers needs and desires.
Along with this I lead the design and development of all display banners for the GDN, social media channels and our affiliate websites. I have implemented the use of HTML5 display banners which allow for more engaging banners and a better customer experience. This has lead to some ground breaking results for the display and affiliates channel which continues as one of the fastest growing channels in the business.
Along with the physical aspects of the role I also have responsibilities for organising meetings with key stakeholders around the business for each project I work on ensuring they are kept up to date with progress. I have lead and implemented an A/B test plan for the display channel focussing on improving customer engagement and revenue. I also chair weekly catchups with the CRM and display teams on a rota basis. Here I am able to display my presentation and organisational skills.
