Playable Interscroller Advert
In collaboration with Mobkoi a third party ad agency I worked on this interactive playable Interscroller ad.
The idea we pitched was to allow the user to select their favourite slot game and play a quick preview of it leading to a CTA to play more games.
The ad starts with our hero character Alfonso with a phone swiping through different games available at PokerStars Casino. The user can interact with this by swiping the phone and select a game.
Our customer is then transported into the game world. While immersed in the game they can spin the wheel and are taken to a CTA screen and through to the PokerStars Casino platform.
Our goals are to create epic experiences for our customers and that includes our adverts to showcase the fun games we offer and this ad certainly achieved this.
Tinder Interactive Playable Advert
On this project I worked in collaboration with Tinder to develop an interactive ad to mimic gameplay for some popular PokerStars Casino games. The aim of this was to spark interest into the most popular games and offer the most realistic gameplay simulation available in the ad.
After a consultation with Tinder to finalise an ad unit we would serve they provided me with some specifications showing the areas that are editable. Also where we can add our brand elements to give the ad a native PokerStars Casino brand feel. I used this as a base to start from with the designs I pitched to the brand team.
Shown below is the finalised design I pitched to the stakeholders and we ultimately served with Tinder.
Step 1
The user is served the ad natively in the app, they swipe right to engage with the ad.
Step 2
The user is transported to the game world where the ad has the game background and elements.
Step 3
The user then is able to spin the slots and is shown the result.
Step 4
Whether they win or lose they are given the option to click through to play the game for real.
This ad fed into future developments into the Casino brand style, where we utilise more of the game elements. This ad gained great engagement thanks to the interactive element and fun nature of it.
